Navitar, Inc. has been a leader in our industry providing optical solutions
for machine vision applications for OEM’s and system integrators. Since
production of the first Zoom 6000 video microscope in 1984 we have grown the
depth of the products we offer, and through our Product Training seminars, our
goal is to provide an overview of the many different products available and
their applications, understanding the basics of a machine vision system along
with the criteria for choosing your vision system.
Training Manager Bob Prato presents our Dealer Training sessions. Bob has been
with Navitar a combined 10 + years. In the late 1980’s he was the Product
Manager of the newly introduced Zoom 6000 Video Microscope system. As Navitar
started introducing the Z6K system to capital equipment manufacturers as an
alternative to an optical microscope, we were rapidly expanding the product
offering and the potential markets that benefited from this type of product.
After leaving in 1990 to work for Eastman Kodak Company as an Account Manager
in their Health Sciences Division, Bob returned to Navitar, Inc. in 1997 as
Regional Account Manager for the OEM and Presentation Products divisions until
March of 2005 when Navitar committed its resources to developing a new training
program. It is Bob’s vast product knowledge and his understanding of the
markets Navitar sells to that makes this training session a valuable use of
your time.

be customized to meet specific requirements of larger target groups by request.
Sessions are free of charge with refreshments provided and a venue if necessary.
