Growing International Sales Spur New Additions to Navitar Sales Force

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- September, 2004 –Navitar, Inc., a leading manufacturer of machine vision systems and presentation products, is pleased to announce that growing foreign sales have prompted several new additions to its international sales team. In response to customer demand, Navitar is increasing its sales force in key geographic regions. In Q4 of 2004 Navitar added sales staff in Singapore, Southern China, and Germany. Navitar also added sales staff in Taiwan and Northern China in early 2004.

“Employing local staff immediately improves our ability to react to local customer requirements. It also allows us to gather local market information and cater our products to those specific needs,” said Donald Ehinger, Vice President of International Sales. “These additions give Navitar customers immediate access to product information. Our local staff in these regions will have inventory availability, delivery, pricing, and technical information at their fingertips,” commented Ehinger, whose new international staff includes:

Ning Zhao nzhao@navitar.com
Ning Zhao joined Navitar in January 2004 with over eight years of technical sales experience in both China and the United States. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xian, China and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in applied science from the University of Waterloo, Canada. Since joining Navitar, Ning has focused his skills on developing the company’s distribution channels in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Ning will be overseeing distribution of all Navitar’s product lines in these regions.

Wang xinhui (Anthony Wang) anthony-wang@navitar.com
Anthony Wang joined Navitar in December 2004. He has over five years of extensive experience in the machine vision industry in China. Prior to Joining Navitar, Anthony worked as a sales representative for Orbis Solutions and Acterna Cooperation. He has an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Automation Technology from Chongqing University in China. Anthony will use his vast knowledge of the machine vision industry to help roll out Navitar’s business plan for mainland China.

Desmond Tan joined Navitar in November 2004 with over six years of experience in the machine vision industry in SE Asia. Previously, Desmond worked for EZ Vision Pte. Ltd., and Zen Voce Manufacturing Pte. Ltd., in Singapore. Both of these companies were early distribution partners for Navitar’s machine vision products. Desmond has an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. He will be responsible for managing Navitar’s distribution channel in SE Asia, including India. Desmond will handle all products manufactured by Navitar including machine vision and LCD products.

Klaus Junghaenel joined Navitar in November 2004 with more than 20 years of sales experience, including over three years in the optical presentation industry. Prior to joining Navitar, Klaus worked for InMedia One (Bertelsmann Group), and DNP Dai Nippon Printing (Europe). Klaus holds a BS degree from Deutsche Angestellten Akademie in Duesseldorf, Germany. His experience in the presentation industry will help Navitar to grow its LCD lens business. Klaus will be responsible for channel management in Austria, Germany and Switzerland. He will handle all products manufactured by Navitar including machine vision and presentation products.
