Outside Sales Executive

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong background in technical sales and engineering to grow our existing channel, develop new customer contacts, and expand our business. Applicants must have a proven track record of direct sales with an emphasis on new customer development. This position will require extensive travel to our customers inside the US.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in our Wharton, NJ headquarters.
• Experience working directly with engineering staffs to provide solutions.
• 5 plus years experience selling technically based products.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfortable with extensive travel throughout territory.
• Demonstrated ability to act at a strategic level with potential to assume greater levels of responsibility.
• Fluency in a second language is a strong advantage but not required.
• A background in machine vision technologies, laser optics, or custom optical design and manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Undergraduate degree required. Technical degree preferred.

Reporting to the President of Special Optics.

International Sales Executive

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong background in technical sales and sales management to grow our existing channel, develop new customer contacts, and expand our international business. Applicants must have a proven track record of direct sales as well as channel management experience. This position will require extensive travel to our customers outside of the US.

  • Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in a fully autonomous environment.
  • Experience working directly with engineering staffs to provide solutions.
  • 5 plus years experience selling technically based products.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills across regional boarders.
  • Comfortable with extensive travel throughout territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to act at a strategic level with potential to assume greater levels of responsibility
  • Fluency in a second language is a strong advantage.
  • A background in machine vision technologies, optics, or corporate audio visual product is desirable.
  • Undergraduate degree required.
