Image: Precise Eye

A "non-zoom" equivalent to the Zoom 6000.
  • High resolution, diffraction-limited f/4.5 optical quality for high precision measurement and inspection.
  • Long working distance makes lighting and handling easier.
  • Compact size.
  • Coaxial lighting available for shadow free illumination.
  • Compatible with high-magnification infinity corrected objectives (5X, 10X, 20X, 50X).
  • Mechanically stable for the most demanding vibration environments.
  • Modular design for flexibility.
  • Optics attach to any C-mount camera.
  • Short tube length (approx. 100 mm) and small diameter (31.75 mm).
  • Allows for co-axial illumination and/or 3 mm fine focus.
  • High transmission (> 70%) over the visible to near IR spectrum.
  • Covers magnification factors of between 0.30X and 91X.
  • Working distance ranges from 35 mm to 370 mm.
Select models are also available in an NIR format to maximize transmission in the longer wavelengths.

The wizard looks at your type of camera mounting, then at the sensor size (based on line scan length or area sensor diagonal).

Next the wizard will look for a potential solution to satisfy your mag requirements, as defined by image length (area sensor vertical dimension or line scan length) divided by the pertinent object dimension.

There is no F-mount configuration for the Precise Eye.

There are three configurations of the Precise Eye. All have a maximum sensor length (area diagonal or line scan) of 8 - 11mm depending on equipment employed.

  • Standard – simple single focal length system
  • Coax – utilizes a fiber optic or LED coaxial illuminator
  • Ultra – utilizes microscope objective taking lenses
  SENSOR MAX MAG RANGE
STANDARD 8 - 11mm 0.23 – 7.2X
COAX 8 – 11mm 0.9 – 7.2X
ULTRA 8 – 11mm 2.28 – 91X
